DMD, PhD, Professor EDUCATION 1987 graduated from Kaunas Medical Institute, Faculty of Stomatology 1991- clinical instructor at Kaunas Medical Academy, Faculty of Stomatology 1993-1994 – postgraduate studies of Cariology, Caries Prevention and Endodontics at Aarhus University, Royal Dental College, Aarhus, Denmark.. 1999 – defended doctoral dissertation; degree of Doctor medical sciences (PhD) 2000 – position of an associate professor at Kaunas University of Medicine, Faculty of Odontology. 2007 – position of an professor at Kaunas University of Medicine, Faculty of Odontology. CLINICAL QUALIFICATIONS: licensed endodontist. Special focus on clinical diagnosis of dental caries, and preventive aspects; Endodontic treatment and retreatment of complicated cases. OTHER: active research work, based on international as well as Lithuanian scientific publications; member of International Organization of Dental Research, European Organization of Caries Research; Lithuanian Dental chamber.
