EDUCATION 1987 graduated from Kaunas Medical Institute, Faculty of Stomatology. 1991 – clinical instructor at Kaunas Medical Academy, Faculty of Stomatology. 1993-1994 – postgraduate studies of Cariology, Caries Prevention and Endodontics at Aarhus University, Royal Dental College, Aarhus, Denmark. 1999 – defended doctoral dissertation; degree of Doctor medical sciences (PhD). 2000 – position of an associate professor at Kaunas University of Medicine, Faculty of Odontology. 2007 – position of an professor at Kaunas University of Medicine, Faculty of Odontology.
CLINICAL QUALIFICATION Licensed endodontist. Special focus on clinical diagnosis of dental caries, and preventive aspects. Endodontic treatment and retreatment of complicated cases.
